I made this in a piece of some very vintage color I happened upon in my lab. Sometimes I find myself being bored seeing the same colors being so pushed and it makes the contrarian in me want to dig deeper into the palette and find some hidden gems. Believe it or not this one is sold as “root beer” and while it’s dark brown upon being a raw color rod, it certainly seems misnamed when you go and heat it up. Streaks of deep red compete against striking purples, It’s kinda hard to describe honestly. But rootbeer to me seems like it got named before anyone bothered to try it. Regardless it’s one I had forgotten about myself and to come across it was a treat as I do remember this batch and it had been quite a while. So I fashion it into a big snarling medman head, and there was enough I could do a new joystick. Fits all the puffco 3D xl style chambers, it pops right in and I make them fitted exactly so it won’t stress out the silicone for frequent cleaning if desired.
